History - MILPLAN

History

With over 20 years of experience obtained in Tenenge and Isomonte companies, and having participated in many important industrial works, such as the implementation of USIMINAS, PETROBRAS-REGAP and ACESITA, and the construction of the ITAIPU Hydroelectric Power Plant, the Engineer Magno Vilaça Mendes founded MILPLAN in 1982.

Through these years, MILPLAN has always been focused on the execution of construction and electromechanical erection works of industrial units and complexes, working alongside the largest and most important basic and processing industries of Brazil.

It’s head office is located in Belo Horizonte, Minas Gerais, in a total area of 22,000 m², being 2,600 m² of built-up area. Up to 15 construction sites are kept in various regions of Brazil, which generate 4,000 direct jobs.

MILPLAN has an Integrated Management System – IMS. All the activities in the head office and work sites are certified in ISO 9001:2008 (Quality Management), ISO 14001:2004 (Environmental Management) and OHSAS 18001:2007 (Occupational Health and Safety Management).
